“A Film Company Expanding from Turkey to the World”
Dras Film Universal Inc. was founded in June 2024 in New Jersey, USA, by Turkish director and producer Yunus Şevik. Building on the international success and awards achieved through films produced with his Turkey-based company Dras Film Pictures, the director and producer set out to reach a wider global audience by creating English-language content.
In line with these goals, Dras Film Universal Inc. began its operations and took its first step into the American film industry by shooting parts of the Turkish–American co-production “Kulyas 2” across three different U.S. states. The film was realized through the collaboration of Dras Film Pictures and İlka Yapım in Turkey, together with Dras Film Universal Inc. in the United States.
Following its theatrical releases in Turkey on August 8, 2025, Azerbaijan on August 7, 2025, and Egypt on November 12, 2025, the film became one of the most-watched horror films after Hollywood productions in these markets. The film is scheduled for release in Pakistan on January 16, 2026, and in Malaysia (release date to be announced), with additional countries to be announced soon. Through these releases, the company has taken its first concrete steps toward achieving its global objectives.
Beyond the film industry, Dras Film Pictures also operates a YouTube channel producing documentary content that reaches millions of viewers each month. Over the past three years, the company has reached 80 million viewers on YouTube and won nearly 100 international awards with its films.
By launching the international version of this channel, Dras Film Universal aims to carry the same success to global platforms through English-language documentary storytelling and to build worldwide recognition.
As Dras Film Universal Inc., our goal is to stand out as a successful American film and media company through our international projects and digital content.
Our past achievements are the foundation—and the guarantee—of our future success.

YouTube Documentary Film Projects
In 2022, under the umbrella of Dras Film Pictures, we began our YouTube journey in Turkey with the documentary project “Anlatırsan Film Olur”, which reached millions of viewers. We have now implemented the same model in the United States. As the “Anlatırsan Film Olur America” channel, which reached 30,000 subscribers in a short time, we launched our second season and began broadcasting. Through our YouTube channel owned by Dras Film Universal, we have started reaching a different audience in the United States.
With our U.S.-based project, we focused on the life stories of individuals who immigrated to the United States. These documentaries explored success stories, brain drain, and life experiences that contribute to society and humanity.
Believing that our past achievements are a guarantee of what we will accomplish in the future, we are determined to create a meaningful impact.
